      WILD experiences

Okay, so yesterday I think I finally initiated WILD. But I did not see any HI at all and my body was close to the point of paralysis and extremely relaxed. I am still a little doubtful if I actually did WILD, but I'm pretty sure because I remember I was automatically in the dream.

Has anyone had an experience similar to this? I mean, doing a WILD without HI?

Happens to me about 10-15% of the time. It is not at all uncommon to have a WILD without all of the HI and other funky stuff!

Congrats on your WILD. Pretty cool, yes?

      yup

It most definitely felt cool- I remember inspecting my palms and finding strange designs on them... I also dreamt that I was in my room... after initiating WILD do you usually end up in a familiar setting? I don't remember much of the lucid dream because I woke up very late.

However, I'm still not absolutely certain that it was WILD because I felt like I had fallen asleep, except that I was automatically in the dream... is that supposed to happen?

I have never awoken in the place I went to sleep during WILD. In all my WILDs, there has been no lapse of conciousness, I could trace my awareness from waking all the way into the dream. I can get a little fuzzy though during some parts of it.

Then either it wasn't WILD or I just don't remember because I woke up late... hopefully the latter!

      congrats!

i almost never have HI when WILDing (about 2% of the time).

also, i almost always WILD straight into "my room" (most often it feels like my dream body pops out like a cork surfacing from the depths of a lake).

however, don't let any preconceptions influence you. everyone is different, and there is no "normal" when it comes to lucid dreaming.

      sweet dreams

Either way, you had a lucid dream, so who cares!
