      WOW! First lucid!

I am VERY excited right now. After all of the stuff I've done, it worked! ..and very surprising

I was at a camp with my friend and we were on an exercise break time. I was just following him around my property running. He said we'd get in good shape. After a lot of laps, I got bored and said I can do this at home, so started up the hill. For some reason I was holding a tennis racket. I went halfway up the hill and said, "Dream over!"

I woke up in my bed holding a tennis racket. I was very excited because I thought this counted as an LD (realizing I was dreaming and saying "Dream over"), so I started sending telepathic messages to my 2 friends telling them I had an LD. I glanced over at the clock which read [ : 50]. The usual RC- a clock reading weirdly. I looked away and looked back a few times and it was still wrong, so I realized I was in a dream.

I began flying around yelling "WEEEEE" and going through the walls. It was like a cartoon/video game. The walls were pink, the doors were red and oddly shaped. I flew out of the room, then flew back in through the wall, and landed. I almost lost lucidity because I couldn't fly this time, but tried again and I could.

I even tried creating a woman in front of me, which worked, but it was just some cartoon lady that was very ugly. I tried having sex with her, but it was like a video game and the camera zoomed out and options appeared below her which began changing. Then it landed on "Seekbed" and she ran off to another room Just my luck

Not really the most vivid, but it still kicked ass that i had an LD! I never expected to have an LD so didn't really know what I should try doing. Also, any tips on making dreams more vivid/realistic instead of a cartoon world?

Hehe nice! Well so far, I've found that ya either have a realistic one, or ya don't. The 'graphics', if you like, always seem to be consistent, and if ya start in a place that looks cartoony, it'll stay that way! Somewhere realistic will stay realistic. However, I reckon if you try to change how it looks, it's probably do-able. Try creating or finding a door, and before opening it, telling the door/yourself that on the other side will be <location> and it will be <style>. Hopefully, when ya open it, it'll look how ya wanted! Chances are it wont work first time, so try doing it several times. Also, if ya go somewhere you know of in real life, it's bound to look realistic Keep up the good work!

Thanks a lot. The door idea seems good for a beginner like me, rather than changing it all instantly which could be hard.
