      FALSE AWAKENINGS

I have had numerous lucid dreams, and each time I have one, the dream ends with a false awakening. During the lucid dream, everything fades and I believe I am waking up, but I am actually waking up in another dream. What concerns me is that EVERY time I have a lucid dream, it always ends in a false awakening. Does this happen to anyone else?

That’s happened a few times with me as well. I recommend a few reality checks and an investigation of the room to see if anything differs from when you went to sleep.
      I can because I know I can.

It's quite normal. I'm not sure why though. I've had a false awakening (two after my latest LD) in 2 out of the 3 LDs I've had. I've never done any reality checks during my FA's though. That would probably be a good idea if you want to try to wake yourself up, though there's no gurantee you wouldn't "wake up" into another FA.

It's pretty normal, and just as annoying. Annoying because they happen quite often, but they ain't that bad really.
From my experience, performing some reality checks right after you wake up will hopefully make you do the same during a FA.
However Krista is quite right, in one of my recent FAs, I found out it was a simple FA and woke up soon after, tried to turn on the light... and lo! yet another FA. This is the annoying part I talked about

heh, last night I went to bed late and I was looking at my clock and the red on it was shaking up and down and I thought I was dreaming but it turned out I was just really tired.

That's great dude... That's giving you a chance to have another lucid. Just everytime you wake up, the first thing you should do is a RC.
