Lucid, finally!
Woo, lucid!
Ok, so, I'm outside my friends house. Watching these jets fly overhead. I lock on to all of them, wait for the glowing red geometric shape to click in place around all eight of them, then I launch the AA missiles from seemingly nowhere, and blast them from teh sky. Just another day, right? Yea, cool...
Wait...
I'm dreaming!
So that's cool. I don't get very excited, since I know that it isn't good for the stability of the dream. I think about spinning, but it hits me that I will probably get nauseous, so I don't. Instead, I look down at my hand. At this point, I realize that most everything around me is fuzzy, like I don't have my contacts on. So I focus on the details of my hand, look away, look back. The more I do this, the more detailed my hand becomes. Get down on a knee, continue to do it. I wait until I think I have enough control, then stand back up. Everything was just as realistic as when I am awake. The next thing that pops in my head are the lucid tasks... well, the lucid task to reanimate the dead. I wish I had remembered the traffic one, I had a road right beside me. Anyway, I was about to head out and do the task, when my friends younger brother informs me that his Dad is about to kill me. At this point, Mr. Jimmy comes out with the rifle. I take off running. I block a few shots with something metal that just appears in my hand. I turn the corner, safety. At this point, I've lost a whole lot of control. I start to spin around in circles, since the metal thing is in my hand, and I don't feel like dropping it (I dunno =[ ). After a few spins, I fall over, and wake up.
I head in the kitchen to tell my Dad about the dream. He has been pretty interested in my attempts at LDing, so I figure I'll fill him in. He's busy though, working on my sisters dress. It apparently a mechanical dress of sorts, and she needs him to fix it for her. I head in the bathroom, and the floor is lined with batteries. I don't remember anything at this point, and I also don't remember waking up from that false awakening.
But, I'm awake now, and here I am! All in all, it was a pretty cool experience, and gives me a bit of hope for this project... I'm just kinda bummed out that it was so short. =[ Maybe next time I'll actually be able to complete the tasks, and I won't be dodging bullets the whole time.
Ah, and I used no method to LD. I simply woke up, and tried to remember some dreams I had last night. I couldn't remember them, and I got frustrated... I guess I slipped off into a nap. That's when I had the LD.

Nice one! :D What a great feeling to have such a vivid LD! You probably had something like a shortened WBTB to help induce lucidity. That is usually when I have my LDs, too - after I hit the snooze a couple of times in the morning.
Well done! :)
