Thread: Task: Lead a Band/Rap Group.

I've got a far, far, far, far, far better idea.
You could lead a good band during a concert!
Just kidding, but seriously, I HATE system of a down.
Yeah... I think I will change myself to David Gilmour in Earl's Court, 1980, with the rest of Pink Floyd. Step up to the mic, and start singing...
Perhaps Dark Side of the Moon in it's entirety.

That's a cool idea! It actually makes me think of something else cool. I wouldn't mind gathering a bunch of my favourite musicians and conducting them, ala Zappa, or John Zorn's game pieces.

Actually I had a dream (maybe not lucid, but definately with some awareness) where I was the lead singer of my own band. We were gathered across the street from a mall, and a crowd had even assembled. However, then the band didn't know what music to play, and I was scrambling around to find music, or something. Then they did start playing a song I knew, only I was frozen as I missed my cue to start singing, so they stopped playing. Then the entire crowd went down the street to a music store, or somewhere similar. I want that dream to repeat so I can own it next time .

Ooops, I don't want to be spelling their names wrong, now should I? That sounds like an embarassing dream, lol.

In one of my lds about 2 weeks ago I was on stage with slayer, playing lead guitar. My dream was at the kodak theater(where jeff foxworthy does his shows...), even though I saw them in boston. I had gone to a slayer concert about a month before the dream and I play guitar, so it fits. slayer pwns soad...

and yeah, this sounds like a cool idea.

I did this instead of the lucid task last night. I had a gigantically long dream, and at the end of it, I was at a Tool concert. Their first song was "The Patient", but I had to pee really bad, so I went to the bathroom.

The bathroom had a window which faces the stage for guys to see while they go #1. I jumped out the window, and after one song ended, and another began, I realized it was a different concert. I went through the wall and found Tool again.

However, they were no longer playing their songs. I started levitating on stage in front of Maynard, and also turning invisible. I MILDed back into the dream, and when he turned his back to get some wine, I took his microphone, again floating invisibly so he wouldn't know where I was.

At this point, Tool was no longer playing their songs. They started playing a song called "Oingo Boingo" (which is actually Danny Elfman's band from years ago, I think). I did manage to adlib and flatly sing "I just stole the microphone" along to the music. The people in the pit managed to get a kick out of it.

Then I landed, looked at their set list, and after the first five songs were about ten songs, each numbers with no more than three digits. I thought "Damn it, they aren't going to play any of their songs". At that point, I knew it wasn't worth fighting for it, so I let it be, and woke back up soon enough.
