Mutating emoticons
Aaarrgghh! Emoticons and LD do not mix!!!!!!
Well, I've discovered something interesting, to me at least!!!
I was in a low level LD sometime around 2am this morning and found myself responding to a post.
I was trying to put in a bunch of emoticons using the pop-up window.
I would double click one to drop it into the message, then go look for another one.
When I clicked the next one, I noticed that the ones I had already dropped into the post had changed and were in different positions!!
I know this happens all the time with text, but this is the first time I've had the little smileys mutating and moving around on me!! :D 8) :o :lol: :-P

That is intresting Seeker. You mean that the smilies were just moving around the screen while you are looking at them?
Personally I never dream about online forums, though I spend enough time browsing them. :-P

No, it was like the standard text thing. Every time I would look away and then look back, they had changed!

i've had that happen too. well sort of. i would open the emoticons window and click what i wanted... then i'd go back to the post and they wont be there. :?

Oh ok, I just brought that up because I have actually had text in books move and change right in front of my eyes in dreams before.
It'll be cool though, to see banana chase orange across the screen. :-P

In dreams lots of things move themselves...i've had the forum disappear in real life. using nView window manager i changed desktop. I went back and it wasn't there.
