this night it was strange
i was dreaming to be in a town with a friend (called the cat)
at a point i realized that if i went around flying, it meant i was dreaming.
but this time it was nothing like "uoah i'm lucid let's have fun" :yumdumdoodledum:
it was more "oh well. so this is a dream. so i suppose i should get lucid. :?... ok then do it :| "
and i ended up doing nothing interesting.
strange..

Hmm, well, are you sure you didn't dream that you realized that you were dreaming? o.o
How confusing, heh.
-
I know, I rarely have the reaction I wish I would when I become lucid either. I forget my objectives and get focused on stupid things.

no merlock. it wasn't even "low level", it was just clear as a good one. i simply didn't feel like using that dream. didn't fancy a walk to that crossroad place (last minute september task :|), no vegemite, no usual "private thing-to-do..."
i just told my dc-friend : " i know it's probably just me dreaming of you, but just in case you'r dreaming too, take this dream and have fun, 'cause i don't feel like it"
(it took a little more words but that was the point)
it's the "taste" that makes me think. when i understood i was dreaming it felt "sweet and soft", as often, but when i thought "so i suppose i should take control" it felt like having to get up and leave the soft covers at 8 in the morning.

Well, moods often carry over from a dream into the waking state. Surely enough the same can happen while in a dream, hm? Were you feeling grumpy that day? >.>
-
i'm feeling grumpy this life

ItalianMonkey, I had the same exact experience the other night. I was lucid, and it was one of the clearer LD's ive had. Anyways i just thought to stabilize etc, and i was literally just standing there, makin no real keen obserations, but i stood analytical enough to stay lucid for a while. my dream recall has been trippin lately, but if i remember correctly it was a fairly long ld. I really did nothing but know that i was dreaming. I think in my last LD i felt the same, but as i infered earlier my dream recall is undernourished like a mug.

I never know wether I am really lucid or just dreaming I am. Becouse when I am dreaming I am, I mostly fly for a few seconds then the dream goes on non-lucid.

Hmm, sounds like you were in a disinterested state simply.
Lucidity doesn't always have to be fullfilled by extreme happiness. The other night in a dream I remember looking for food, but it was all looking gross to me instead of good. (Same idea, you assume good food always looks good in a dream.) When I awoke, I was feeling a bit cruddy due to the large taco salad I had ate earlier. This was an example of an actual feeling/emotion carrying into the dream world from the real world. I imagine a similar state of how you may have felt carried to your lucid dream.
