well I never thought that 5 years ago when my brother told me that he had a dream where he(in control) streaked around a museum pissing all the sightseers off, that you could ever wake up in a dream. I was first hit with an LD around 6 months ago after watching waking life, and the segment where the guy flicks the light switch on and off as a method to LD bothered me and without thought I never considered the meaning, purpose, or truth to it. About a month after I developed odd sleeping hapits, 3 hours one day, 15 the next, and one night I fell alsleep not on any drug, and woke up in my dream, literally, and throughout the dream I was scared becuase I felt I was in a godless world, and over in over again I'd fall alsleep in the dream trying to wke up in reality, only to find myself in a different house. Finally I thought,"Electronics mess dreams up", and I looked at my ipod, the screen instead of running normally was showing a code, similar to the matrix pattern, and it sped up, I focused in on it than woke up at 3 in the morning(reality) and I had only been alsleep for 3 hours. I had minor LDs following but they went away, I'll never know what triggered them, but I dont have them anymore, I wish I did, but I dont know how to get them back, and the release from LDing is better then any drug, I think that the people who master it are truely geniuses of our modern world and I wish I could go back, but eh, Well thanks for reading.....G.Hehr

Welcome to the forum :) I'd direct you to our tutorials, but we've had a problem with some of them last night and they're not back up yet. You've definitely come to the right place to learn more about LDing.
Good luck and have fun!
