Okay. So, I woke up at 5:15 in the morning in order to hone my WILDing skills. I went back to bed at about 5:30. So, I was concentrating. Then, my thoughts started wandering for some reason. The next thing I know, my hand jerks up suddenly. I think to myself, "Why would I suddenly jerk my hand up while doing a WILD?" Then, I realized that, after about 15 minutes of WILDing, I had fallen asleep. Once I started to dream, I somehow realized that the WILD had failed. I said to myself, in the dream, "Crap! Why did I fall asleep? Better wake up." Then, I woke up. I think that this is strange because I was obviously at least half-lucid, because I realized that I was dreaming, but I was not lucid enough to try to take advantage of the fact that I was lucid, if that makes sense. Weird.
So anyways, I woke up and took off my blindfold/towel. The fact that that was still on my eyes let me know that I was dreaming. I sighed to myself and tried to fall asleep again. After about five minutes, I fell asleep. So, I had a dream, but I won't go into details on this one. Then, I was in a cafeteria scene. I was walking around, observing the action. There were two sections to the cafeteria. Then, I sat down next to Ethan, who was sitting at a tow-person table by himself, and started talking to him (I forgot what I was talking about). During this time, I think I am semi-aware that I am dreaming. Suddenly, I take the logical leap, and realize that I am dreaming. Perhaps I had seen this cafeteria in a previous dream, before trying to WILD. Then, I did a hasty reality check (the nose check), which tells me that I am dreaming. I yell out, as lound as I can, "I'm dreaming! I'm dreaming!" Suddenly, I get a strange rush of excitement to my head. The dream-scene starts fading. It becomes dark, but some details indicate that the room that I am in is my bedroom. Well, to be precise, my old bedrom. Somewhere doing this time, I try spinning, but I feel as though I am wading through honey (it is hard to spin). I try to rub my hands, and I feel the warmth of my hands beng rubbed together, but I cannot feel my hands touching! I try yelling "Lucidity Times 1000!", but I have lost my voice...
Suddenly, I wake up to find myself in my bed. Thinking back t this incident, I realized that this was not my real bed; this was a false awakening. I groan, and try to "go to sleep" again (although I am already asleep in real life). I immediately fin myself to be asleep. I am in the same cafeteria. I shout, "I'm dreaming!" again. I do another reality check. Suddenly, I fin myself in my real bed. It is about 6:45 when I start to write this down on a piece of paper.
So, after I wrote this down, I went back to sleep. I was drifting in and out of sleep, due to the fact that I took off my earplugs and that it was already morning. When I get out of bed, I decide that I will try to WILD tommorow as well, but this time, I will go to sleep earlier and wake up earlier.
So, I have several questions. How many lucid dreams did I have? I became lucid two (or three, if you count the failed WILD) times during this night.
What can I do to not wake up next time? In retrospect, I should have remained calm, and not shouted "I'm dreaming" as loud as I could.
Why was I unable to stabilize the dream?
What can I do to get a better WILD next time, ie. to not fall asleep?

Um... Nobody replied to me, so I'll talk about today's experience. I woke up at the same time to do a WILD. I was doing the WILD, but at the same time telling myself that when I dream I will know that I am dreaming. I think I made some progress in the WILD, because I felt like I was falling, and that my head was heavy for about one minute.
Then, I purposefully woke up, taking off my towel and my earplugs. I tried to go to sleep (like the day before), but my attempts seemed to fail. I thought that I wouldn't be able to go to sleep again...
So, of course, I was able to go asleep. I am unsure if I had any dreams other that this one right here. (I'm recalling it from memory, because I don't have my dream journal.) I find myself in my bed, getting up. I am thinking, "Crap! It's so early and I couldn't fall asleep!". I go to my living room. Suddenly, it hits me. I am dreaming. I do a reality check (the nose check, never failed me) just to make sure. I try to say "I am dreaming" aloud, but all that escapes my mouth is a tiny sound, as though I am mute. The dream scene starts fading to gray, and all of a sudden, time seems to slow down. I get down on my knees, and think "Please. I'm lucid dreaming! Don't let this dream end." This does not help. I hug the nearest object to me, which happens to be my television. It feels warm for some reason. Suddenly, I'm in my bedroom, with my eyes open, breathing deeply. I'm in the real world.
Obviously, my attempts to calm down and stay asleep were foiled by the fact that time slowed down, making it hard for me to relax and spin, etc. What should I do better?
