      Friend helping you in dreams

      One night while trying to go to sleep I kept becoming lucid and waking up over and over, so on the 5th or 6th time going back to sleep, I remembered to tell myself to try spinning. When I became lucid, I tried to spin using my legs and although I was not losing lucidity, I could feel minor vibrations and other awakening signs.

      I had a friend in the room with me (I'm not sure why) and he said 'Dude, just spin kinda like a top' and so I stopped using my legs and just spun my dream body at some 1000rpm and became fully lucid.

      Has anyone else had a 'friend' (subconcious) tell you what you should do? I gotta say it was pretty weird

      All the dream people I talk to try and keep me from being lucid, or if I am already lucid make me think I am awake so I go back to a normal dream.

      I really think that it doesn't want me to be lucid. It is always trying to stop me. It does all kinds of tricks to fool me. I once asked a dream person if he could help me become lucid more often and he told me no.

      One time while I was falling asleep, I heard this voice that was telling me I was falling asleep and would wake up lucid. I had a post about it sometime back and it was really weird. I kept seeing this spinning white light and I felt myself falling asleep, felt myself twitching and heard myself breathing, etc. And the whole time the voice kept saying for me to come to the light with him to "wake up."

      Kinda related to your story... hopefully when I become more lucid I will have better stories...
