Well, I noticed I almost WILDed today, but what stopped me was that I didn't pass through the transition stage completely. I felt a nice vibration when I was half awake, the sensation felt really strong  . But, it reminded me: I have felt this feeling before! In my dreams! I have felt that same feeling (possibly a little less strong) in my dreams, sometimes when I fly. But that was a few years ago, and its pretty rare that ever happens anymore.
What do you think is happening to me in these situations - even when I am in a dream?
EDIT: Sorry, this is probably the wrong forum section.

Hey, really.
My best guess is sleep paralysis. It's an almost tingling sensation that keeps you from sleep walking at night. This is a good sign that you were on the verge of success.

Cool. :) It mostly felt like I was rising or falling at great speeds, rather than tingling.
Do you know why I felt that during a dream? It happened twice a long time ago, when I was travelling fast, falling or flying. Sometimes I would wake up and still vaguely feel it.

man i almost had a wild this morning also, and ive never had a lucid dream. the images and vibrations were getting intense and i just kept focusing on my breaths and saying to my self, "i will have a lucid dream" in between breaths. Well, long story short the vibrations and images were to much for me to handle, and i snapped out of it and woke up fully in my bed. close though
