First off i'm relatively new to these forums. I got involoved with all this Lucid dreaming stuff after i accidently went into sleep paralysis one night and scared the shit out of myself. I googled around the next day and discovered what had happened, and now I'm here. :)
Anyways, two days ago i tried to WILD. This was my first time i ever really tried. I layed down in my dark room and started to relax. When I was fully relaxed to the point where my limbs felt like lead I just imagined myself 'swimming' through liquid hoops (dont ask it just happened :? ) I sort of dozed off for a few seconds and i cant remember what happened at that time but the next thing i knew there was a bright flash of light and i was staring up at my ceiling. I thought i had woken up but when i looked down, my body was laying there still sleeping. I realized I was dreaming at that point and so i just hopped off my bunk like I usually do and was surprised - it was like i was jumping in space! It took me forever just to land on the floor! I thought it was cool so i jumped out of my bedroom and landed in the middle of my living room and noticed my brother, mom, and sister sleeping there. (they had fallen asleep watching a movie) I thought to myself "it would be cool to fly in my living room", and so i tried by jumping and imagining myself not landing; it didnt go so well and i ended up getting stuck at the peak of my jump and i wouldnt come back down, it was as if time had froze on just me! I panicked and the next thing i knew, i actually did wake up in my bed, and i was excited as hell! I tried right away to wild again, but unfortunately i just fell asleep. :P
My question is, was this a false awakening, a lucid dream, or even an OBE? I tried to WILD again the next night, but all i remember is the bright flash of light again, and then me doing a stabilization technique (spinning around). Other than that its all i remember from my second dream. :(
