So I was walking down this dark purple hallway in a dream, and I begin to get really freaked out. I'm like: WHERE THE CRAP AM I? HOW DID I GET HERE?
I finally get to the conclusion that I'm dreaming, and I don't question it. I look around and realize that I'm in the house of the girl I have a crush on. I decide to look for her and just turn around and there she is, I walk up to her and try and kiss her, but I miss and like, go above her head. She giggles and I get frustrated. I finally grabbed her head and then pull our lips together and kiss her for about a second. Her dad walks in the room and says something completely unrelated. He seems okay with us kissing.
So then I look down at my hands, and they are completely distorted. My index finger is all smushed and other fingers are crooked... it was gross and weird so I looked away and looked in a mirror to see what I looked like in my mind. I looked exactly the same as I do in real life except my hair was black and just looked cooler somehow...
So then I go into a cavern and I'm with a group. These sci-fi vampire things start threatening my group, and I'm suddenly in third person, watching everything from an angle. This is frustrating and I try and pull myself into my body but to no avail. I'm starting to get really freaked out from the vampires and then I realize that this is MY dream and I don't want to be scared by stupid vampires. I make like a monster truck crash in the cave and make a huge explosion kill all the vampires.
I lose lucidity and have a really weird dream afterwards.
Okay, so how do I get myself back into first person? I really hate watching things from a distance. I'd much rather live them through. I imagine that maybe trying to move my hand or something like that would make my brain realize that I'm still in a body, but are there any other suggestions?

well i am not sure about the first person, but you should definatley try to get your lucids more clear before doing stuff. like rubbing your hands and stuff, blowing on them, it will make everything more clear and easier to control.

i had a dream last night where i went in 3rd person, it wasn't that bad.
I immediately went back into 1st after a couple seconds

But come on, maybe if I wasn't so destracted with third person I would've been able to kill those flipping vampires a different way.
Like shooting fireballs out my fingertips.
