I've really slacked off on my RCs and dream journaling the past few months. As a result I've had only 1 short WILD every 2 weeks or so. Well, I started journaling again (and doing selective RCs,) and it paid off last night. 1 WILD, 2 DILDS, and one FA. Here's what happened for those that might be interested.
I went to bed around 11 doing MILD and woke up at 4:30 on my own. I got up for about 30 minutes then went back to bed and started doing WILD. I had a really cool LD where for the first time I had a really good flying experience. It seemed very long and I spent most of the time doing tricks and making things out of other things. What's funny is, I was afraid I would forget all the stuff I was doing in the LD so I decided to write it all down - in my dream! It actually worked. When I woke up I remembered everything I had written.
I then had another long DILD right after that. I was in a normal dream but I couldn't see very good and things diidn't look right so I suspected a dream, which it was. I then ran through the window and jumped up into the air, about 100 feet or so, and got a beautiful view of my neighborhood. I remembered the Task club but unfortunately hadn't read the tasks for December yet. But, I remembered the November tasks and proceeded to ask people if I was dreaming. They all seemed pretty bored by the question but all said "yes."
Things started to fade so I started spinning. I spun right into an FA. But after a while I suspected THAT was a dream and became lucid again. Unfortunately, my alarm went off and that was the end of it. I woke up feeling great and was in a terrific mood. Funny how LDs seem to do that.
