      Lucid Movie Theater

I have a theater that I visit in my dreamworld. Just curious about how many others share this experience.

That's interesting. No, I don't have a theatre, but I do have a house if that makes sense. The dreams about this house began when I was a little girl and I know every inch of it by heart. It's got secret passages and everything. My 'theatre' is one of the annexes of the house. I have to go through a series of tight crawlspaces to get to it, but it's been sort of a safe haven for me. When I'm in that little room, I know that nothing can touch me.

      movies

Not A theater specifically, but I have had dreams with movie theaters. It's a little odd when your lucid and your dream is in 3-d, but you're watching a movie which is in 2-d... My movies are usually animated or partially animated, but have no apparent logic -It's almost like viewing a dream within a dream. Sometimes, it is as if I am creating/imagining the animation process using things like chalk or pencils to create cartoons that are filled with all kinds of geomatrical shpes and vivid colors. What are your "movies" like Aneas?

That's way cool... but why is it strange that your lucid dream is in 3-d (lucid dreams are a lot like real life so they should be 3 d ) and that the movie is in 2 d (usually they are unless you have those funky glasses, like this guy>>>>>> 8)

      weirdness...

It's weird because while I'm dreaming, my mind is using two different modes (2-d and 3-d) I guess I expect it to be thinking eithyer in all 3-d or all 2-d. I've been having a lot of these lately. The ones where I am actually in a movie theater are not that extraordinary to me. I like the ones where I actuall conjure a screen, then begin creating the movie or the animation consciously. These are way cool because the detail is excuisite an dthe colors are awesome. Many times I will experiment with logos, symbols, and Hebrew or English script.

I had a weird dream that was 2-d, I dreamt I was in a comic book and I was flat like a pancake, I could only walk sideways like those crappy 80's arcade games...

[size=24]Dont you DARE DISS the side scrollers!... Actually I think the vig game companies could make a killing if they took those old game and revamped the graphics to be all rendered and bust out with real music instead of the midi stuff BUT KEPT THEM as sidescrollers!!!

They would rake in a fortune from oldschool gamers like me that still bust out the old master system and play some spy hunter or alysa dragoon. if they made like multi packs for the newer systems say having a couple of classics, I know they have already done it but dont understand why they don do it with the good games.
(edit) actually if they re made Alyssa dragoon I wouldent mind if they made it totaly 3-d and applied advanced jiggle physics to her

      Flat land

its about a 2 dimensional world, people there are all 2d and they can only perceive 2d

A sphere comes across this world.

But the beings in flat land can only perceive a 2d slice of the sphere, so the sphere by changing what part of itself is in flat land can change its size, something the flat landers cannot do, its like magic to them, because they cannot perceive the whole of the sphere.

Its a good book, I havent read it in a long while though.

When i was a little kid all my dreams began thusly: all my little kid friends and i were sitting on the ground in a room, like a nursery or a play room or something, facing a TV. and an adult (my mom's friend, strangely enough) would say "ok kids, this is the next dream" and she would put a tape in the VCR and push play... then the dream would begin. thats how all my dreams started every night

Haha! When I was a little girl, mine used to start on on an assembly line. This little mechanical arm would come by and pluck the dream from the conveyor belt and plop it in front of me. Then the dream would start.

off topic: apologies for any blatant typos... my keyboard is wiggin out.
