a lucid dream is where you dream and are conscious of dreaming. a rememberable dream is a dream you can remember well.
I think really rememberable dreams tend to be lucid, or atleast semi lucid. Either that or its really scary and you wake up right after and remeber it heh.
I think you can also be concise and still not know its a dream if its pretty life like. Technically though its pretty simple, if you know its a dream while dreaming its a lucid dream, if not then its not lucid.
is it possible to dream of being lucid?? like act of what u were prolly going to try??
well the reason i'm asking this is becuase i had a dream last night/morning (around 4:15-6:20 A.M. to be exact) and i remember it fairly well. i also question if i was lucid or not cuz i NEVER remember dreams this well. also, cuz i don't remember being able to smell or really hear. when i become lucid, if i didn't already, will i instantly "just kno" that i'm lucid?
You can be lucid but not fully aware. That happens to me a lot. I know I am dream but I am not really thinking clearly so I do the first thing that comes into my mind, normally one of the things I wanted to try to do while being lucid.
I also remeber some dreams where I know I am lucid but I don't remeber thinking it was a dream. So you can have a lucid dream where your not in full control and stuff and its still lucid.
Now when your fully 100% lucid, you will have no doubt that you are lucid. It wont be you "remebering" the dream, you will be inside your dream and it will seem just like it is when your awake.
I understand where you're coming from with the clear dreams might be lucid dreams thing, if you really have a clear dream and you can rember and analyse your feelings and decisions, it can make you wonder... But its not a real lucid dream because you go with the flow from the dream, and dont think "hey i'm dreamin", even though you're can clearly remember you thinking several things and making decisions based on that.
A great dream that you remember (upon awakening) is one that you can remember the most important details that has grabbed your attention. You can remember a dream quite well but that doesn't give you Lucidity because you were not conscious enough to control the process of the dream. Lucidity within a dream and Im talking High-Level Lucidity within a dream gives you to me what is a much more memorable experience. Because you pick up on every detail of that dream once you are Lucid. Upon awakening you can pretty much remember that Lucid Dream from begining to end.
