Thread: I Just Can't Do It!

Having sex in a LD is quite a difficult task. To stay lucid and not wake up you have to stay focused and avoid excitement, and it isn´t easy to do during a sexual encounter. If you have had only 3 LDs I suggest you forget sex for a while (at dreams, of course) and concentrate on improving dream control, vividness and stability. Otherwise, you can waste a number of LDs

Thing is, I have excellent control, vividness, and stability over my LD's, which is really incredible for a beginner like me. I just want to have some fun lol!

Lucky you, after a number of LDs I can make them last longer and more vivid but can´t manipulate the environment or control dream characters . Anyway, if your DCs were robots or suddenly changed and you couldn't do anything about it you should train your control. Try to practice summoning a specific person (I mean girl ) and learn to command her. It's a motivating way of training...

P.S. What does 'lol' mean? You know, English isn´t my native language, and people here keep saying that all the time...

I dont think sex is something you should do till you are really in control of the dream

I am a foreigner as well. I emigrated to United States about 6 years ago, and yes it used to amaze me too. Wuts even more amazing, I use the acronyms on daily basis.

Maciuncio99, sexual activity usually shortens the length of LDs because it stimulates the brain's excitement receptors (or whatever the scientific explanation is). Flying or doing other impossible things can be just as fun if not more fun because it's so different from anything you could ever do irl, but it is considerably easier to stay calm while flying than while engaging in sexual activity. Maybe you should stick with exploring the dream world before attempting to carry out your erotic fantasies.

Stranger, don't think that Internet acronyms are used by English speakers. Normally they are only used online for the sake of brevity. By the way, irl means "in real life."
