Ok so basically, I had a dream last night...not lucid, but (me) asked someone to explain the way the mind works etc. and the answer I got I have to say was very interesting...i'm lucky I still remember it so vividly...anyway it went something like this... (also even though I realize this sounds in a way religious, I do have to state that i'm an atheist, so any implied religious meaning should be discounted :P)
As of right now, we think the mind is the center of thought etc., however this "voice" basically explained that, forever, we have been looking in the wrong place. Essentially, there is a smaller "thing" that contains your entire non-physical presence (mind, etc.), but it can't be found normally in the body cause it exists in a "different dimension" basically, this "thing" routes all thoughts/processes etc. THROUGH the mind while alive, but after death, it exists only as itself (aka you minus your physical presence (commonly conceived as a "soul")) and runs essentially on its own energy (basically a lucid dream for eternity after death).
idunno just kind of a weird little thing that in a weird way sorta makes sense...anyway just thought i'd mention it and see if any others have some sort of insight...

It reminds me an article of Charles T. Tart I once read.
I just found the link to it:

that is quite interesting actually...nice find!

yep sounds like its talking about your soul..
I have a feeling the dreams have more to do with just your mind... Who knows though..

thats really deep... you must have really smart DC's

wow, not only does what your DC say actually make sense (and not some random umbo jumbo) it also sounds pretty much true, I wonder if you asked that again to a DC and they gave you an answer similar or exactly like it, then I guess it would have to be true, right?
