had a dream that I spent the night over at my friends house.
In the dream, i fell asleep, and had a dream. (Actually it was more like a transition from one dream to the next), but anyway, I was in my car, and I suddenly said "This is a dream, haha." Because I knew that, in my dream, I was dreaming. I guess I dreamt that I dreamt I had a lucid dream.
So I paused, then suddenly got excited.
I realized I was dreaming when, in my dream's dream, knew I was having a dream in the dream.

XD Agh! I can't explain it but it's soo cool.

Later in the dream I tried to have sex but then it died on me.

I have experienced this dream within a dream also - it just takes you twice the amount of time to wake up
This my friend Mari. I come here for massage and, how you say? Hand relief. Every Thursday, he clean my hole.

That's called Chain Dreaming (Dreaming of having another Dream). It's pretty cool that you've gotten Lucidity from the second dream which I don't think I've heard of that one before. Usually upon regress you would normally find yourself in a False Awakening. Unless the initial dream colapsed first, then you would just wake up from the 2nd dream altogether.

Chain dreaming eh? Sounds pretty nifty =P.
I'm dissapointed I didn't get a FA - I think I only had it once (I went downstairs, went to the bathroom, and put my hands in the sink), though I'm not too entirely sure.

But isn't this better than an FA? Becuase it is a lucid dream, even if it is an another dream? I wish I would have one of these dreams, I think it would be better than an FA, unless I got lucid from that.

Ha, I had the same thing the other night!

      http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/index.php?...c=42350&hl=

Except in mine, the first dream I was actually INDUCING lucidity in it. I was trying to get lucid, and I knew I was going to be. And it happened twice. So it's kind of like four "dreams."

      ^Lol, that's pretty awesome.

@Moonbeam= I know, but I'd like to expierience a FA, or at least KNOW I have. Just to know the expierience and be able to know what it's like.

Well I've had a lot more since starting to try to lucid dream, so maybe you will get one too. A lot of times in my FA's I am think I am up writing in my journal about the dream I just had, sometimes this happens several times in a row.

Thanks, Amageddon Heaven and Ataraxis! Reading your dreams made me have a lucid dream-within-dream! At least I think that is probably what did it.

Short version: I dream that me and my Mom are sleeping in the same bed, and a baby wakes us up, then we go back to sleep. Then I have a dream about a huge buffet, in which I become lucid. I am eating at the buffet, but then I get worried that all my chewing will disturb Mom and the baby, which causes me to wake up from the lucid dream, back into my first dream. Mom gets up, saying that she can't sleep anymore, and then I wake up in my real bed.

Far out. The power of suggestion. (Not the greatest I know, but I am glad for any lucid and also the dream-chaining.)

I've had a few of those experiences. The coolest by far was the time I was dreaming i was in this convention center type building where every room on the ground floor had something else in it, music venues, lounges... well i was walking around doing my thing when i was like... im gonna go take a nap... so i went up to my room in the hotel that was in the same building on the higher floors... And so i have this dream that im sitting in a circle with like 10 people and we all have acoustic guitars, and the person sitting to the Left of me was Paul McCartney and he was teaching us how to play Beatles songs, Im not sure i was lucid, but it was very vivid i could feel my fingers on the guitar strings and hear my pathetic attempts at trying to mimic the sounds coming from Paul, which sounded just like i was listening to a CD. When i woke up from that, i was sooo excited and i walked back down into the convention center and it felt like i was in the show Entourage, and somehow i wound up getting backstage for a Beck Concert.

Maybe your mind is tricking you into believing you are having a dream within a dream when you are really just transferring into another dream. It would be very impressive if someone could have dream1, become lucid, go to sleep and have dream2, become lucid, wake from dream2 and return to dream 1 while still lucid. Personally, i believe our minds are playing games with us in these occurrences.

      Yeah, I agree, Bill.
Having a dream in a dream is pretty much one form of dream transitions.
      BUT
This is the only dream transition where you have a connection with the previous dream. You know you're dreaming this time, because you remember falling asleep in the earlier dream xD

Awesome story, Moonbeam! I'm glad i could help, I guess.
You two, Busfactorx. I wish I could meat Paul McCartney..even if it was just in a dream =P
