Well, finally became lucid last night after a dry spell, even though my dream recall has been great, dream vividness getting better all the time, etc.

I'm in a vehicle behind another car on a draw bridge. They were knocking down pillars from an "older bridge" right in front of us, the the bridge drawn up. These pillars were at least 40 stories high.

As the pillars were falling it was interesting feeling the "earth shake" as they hit the ground.

Now the pillars they started knocking down got closer and closer to the bridge. So close I thought 'you know, this is really dangerous and when everything was shaking and rumbing from the falling pillars and how close they were, I knew it had to be a dream.

I spread my arms out and took control. All the noise, shaking, etc. stopped (it was super cool matrix style stuff... lol... from choas to serenity in a millisecond). Everything became super vivid. But, I didnt have a plan. Right when I decided to fly my car over the bridge to see what was on the other side, fade.. fade.... fade.... DARN!

I am guessing unless you keep things active, you wake up. Use it or lose it. lol.. In this case there was nothing except me "thinking" about what I should do. But I was enjoying the serenity I created from choas... very peaceful.

Wow, congrants on breaking the non-lucid spell (I've had one recently, broke it off with my good friend called Chocolate ) I've never had anything like the dream you had, but it sounds great, and I do agree with you on the move it or lose it issues.

In all my dreams I've been busy, albiet one, in which I lost my REM and went to NREM pretty quickly. Though, I would have to say, if you were too active then you'd end up waking up (like if you put too much effort/concentration into one thing) so it's good to kepp things on a moderate level

Exactly... keep it active, but don't try too hard. There's a happy medium. I've found it a few times. Most it, as I recall, wasn't even physical actions. But things to keep the brain "Active". Like searching for someone, talking to someone, flying, or.. well... having sex.

Lol, I have to totally agree with you on that, so long as the mind's active you should remain in your dream. So, did you have another LD last night?

Nope. Almost a WILD though. I went from awake to dreaming and missed the transistion, and realized I was dreaming and that "shook" me awake.

May have been a FA, though... I'm going to start doing RCs every time I wake up.

I then had short blurry dreams throughout the night that I never gained lucidity. The only part I remember is having this one gal I know whispering in my ear something (I wish I could remember what, but the feeling of her breath on my ear was overwhelming and where my focus seemed to be) and looking in the distance seeing her husband looking at us like "what is going on!?!" Then she left into a room, but with the door open we kept exchanging glances... Not long enough for a DILD, or vivid enough.

Wow, that's gotta be interesting... Hope you have one soon then.

If you need help with RCs and are on the comp a lot, then anonymous-coward's reality checker could help, I've downloaded it myself [I'm bad with RCs]. http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/index.php?...c=42315&hl=
