Okay i didnt know what Lucid Dreams were a few days ago until i had my first one and posted a message on a different message board that i had a really cool dream, someone told me i had a Lucid Dream and i was like WTF ?
Anyway someone on there also directed me to this site and the reason i am here is because when i had that Lucid Dream it was such a good feeling i loved it, and i want it to happen a lot more, i have read a few things about Lucid Dreams on many sites after they told me about it on that other message board.

Anyway i havent done any sort of training or anything to have a Lucid Dream and like i said i didnt even know what it was when i had it, but anyway here is what happened:

My dream starts out with me walking down the town near where i live, it was like i was viewing myself from a third person view like the camera was at the side of me or something, suddenly whilst walking through the town i stop and i look down, im now in a first person view and im in my body, i look down at my body and then look at my arms and hands, i say to myself...... im dreaming..... im dreaming and i know that i am dreaming, so that means if i am in my dream i can do what ever i like.

So in the town where i am with loads of people walking around i go into the middle of the street and stretch my arms out, i then look into the sky and start floating upwards, i really couldnt believe i was dreaming and knowing that i was dreaming since it had never happened before, anyway i start flaying upwards towards the sky, then i start flying like Superman all over the buildings in the town, i fly over parks, car parks, feilds and i was loving it, this went on for some time, but then i started to feel tired like i was aching or something so i flew down on top of a building roof and sat on the edge of it, i then said to myself i think i'll get up now and i click my fingers and then i wake up.

So like i said before that's really the reson i am here because i really want to try and tirgger this again, so if anyone can point me in the direction of a help board or give me some tips or anything i would appreciate it.

I was the same, i had been Lucid Dreaming for the past 10 years without knowing what it was. I thought this was a natural part of dreaming. It wasnt until about 3 months ago when my new flat mate explained what it was i was doing, i read up about it etc and i have not been able to Lucid Dream since!

Nope, i have not tried any techniques really. I want to go with the approach of not trying because i think thats whats caused them to stop!

Really annoyed too as had some awesome LDs at least 3 or 4 a week! I miss my Fararri lol

Hi rickGamer and welcome to the forum

Most people have lucids dreams with out knowing what they are. This usually happens when you are really young and try to escape nightmares. Some people have lucids all the time thinking its perfectly normal like AdamA.

@ AdamA Thats annoying for you, I can see why you are not trying to do anything about it incase you do spontainiously get another lucid but if you don't have any again after a few more weeks perhaps it wouldn't hurt to try some techniques or atlest do RCs.

      Sup Rick,

Congrats on your first lucid dream mate. I also had them for a long time before I even knew what they were.

Here is a good place to start.

I had another Lucid within 12 days of starting this training and I believe you can do the same. Just make sure you make it fun and dont put pressure on yourself to Lucid.
