Today after lunch I decided to try another WILD. I was tired, just ate, and ready.

Anyhow, same things happened. My hearing would shift from TRW to TDW back and forth, and finally images. The sounds of our nanny and my little girl playing formed the landscape of my dream. I thought I heard them come downstairs, but it was just a dream. I walked into my office and saw a kitchen chair next to my computer along with all my daughters blocks. Interesting..

Then things went black. And next I realized I was again down in the basement where I was sleeping. Not sure if I was awake. But then the door opened and I knew I was dreaming and took over.

Things started to fade. I tried a few things. Looking at my hands, rubbing them (which worked&#33 and shouting "more lucidity" Rubbing hands worked the best. (I also found rubbing a DC really hard seemed to work too.. lol) I meant on trying the Valentine thing. I may try another WILD after I smoke and do some work... lol

WILDs are just plain cool. Especially when you are there going "ok... I seem to be dreaming, but I'm where I fell asleep.. "

Also, for me, my "dream eyes" are closed at the beginning of each WILD and I have to open them. Weird!

Ya, I find my WILDing slightly different than I've read about. So now that I know what to look for, it should get even easier. But 2 in 3 tries isn't bad! Last night it didn't work because of the brewskis I had before bed.. I just zonk out!

It's hard to explain, but for me I enter and exit the dream world a few times, and as long as I can stay semi-concious of this and not fall asleep, I know at one point the dream will start. I don't find myself, like explained in other places, "jumping" into a dream scape. Or forming one. The dreamscape comes and goes and once it's stable enough to play with, that's when I take over and have my fun!
