Thread: First Lucid!

Well, it was extremely short, but so satisfying. To sum it all up here is what happened. So I'm going to meet this DC named adam for the first time, allthough I have never met or seen this person ever in real life. I go to the store to pick up some food that he likes as like a gift I guess. I go and grab a thing of ice cream and a bag of Nacho Dorritos and go to pay for them. While at the register, I suddenly get the runniest nose imaginable. Like it took all of my power to keep my nose from running. It was over whelming. I couldn't even focus on paying the person at the registar the right amount. Finally I got it and payed the right amount of money. After this, a person who had been standing next to me looks at me and says, "Chris?" I'm like, "Holy shit what's up Adam?" It was the DC who I was going to meet. I tell him then that I need to go to the bathroom to take care of this horrible runy nose. He follows me in to use the bathroom. After he finishes, I am just finishing dealing with my nose issue. He starts talking to me about something, I do not remember exactly what it was though and I was just listening and talking to him. While talking to him I glance away and break eye contact, because it doesn't feel right to just continually stare into someones eyes for me. He notices this and says "Hey Chris, when I'm talking to you, I need you to keep eye cantact with me and look at me." I'm just like "ok." So he keeps talking and I do it again. He then becomes furious. He starts going off on me about the breaking eye contact thing. I then try extremely hard to not break eye contact, buit can not help but glance away every now and then for a split second. This only fuels his anger. He begins to yell and threaten to hit me multiple times. I am thinking to myself now how I hate this person so much, and just stare right into his eyes with rage. He then begins to yell at me, "Don't you ever spit on my shoulder! Don't you EVER spit on my shoulder!" This was suposed to be a metaphor for something although I have no idea what lol. It is at this point that I stop for a second and become a little confused as to why this is all going on. Then I ask myself, "Wait.... am I dreaming?" I look around and everything is so incredibly vivid and realistic. Everything was clear and it was just amazing. I had suddenly attained a new level of awareness. A few seconds after asking myself that question and my looking around, I was sucked into consciousness and everything went black. I tried to visualize myself looking at my hands to stabalize the dream, but It was too late. The feeling I experienced while being sucked out of the dream world while being aware to the Real world was amazing. I was so happy. I sat up, did a RC, and I had really awoken. Even though I was only lucid for a few seconds, It was just so awesome to say the least. I know that this is not the most exciting dream, and is also kind of a long read, but just felt like sharing it. I hope more LDs await.
