      Cool

Hi everyone!! I am so happy because I just had my first lucid! (It's 4.22am here but I'm so pumped I couldn't sleep). First of all, I would just like to mention that I was using the subliminal messages that someone posted somewhere, which I had running on the suggested settings for about an hour whilst on dreamviews today. Okay, here is what happened:

Went to bed at 8.30pm, woke up at 2.00am with alarm. I got up, when to the toilet, had a drink, ate an apple, went back to bed and started reading a book. At 2.30am I decided to start a wild. I got to sleep paralysis using 61 point technique, reverse blinking and muscle twitching. Then, after seeing HI's I kept slipping in and out of consciousness. I must have failed because a while later (about half an hour I think) my dog barked and woke me up. I went back to sleep and during my sleep sometime my lucid started... :yumdumdoodledum:

I felt as though I was in my bed, still dark but my body felt semi detached (like in SP) so I decided to do a RC. I stuck my finger through my hand and it went through!!! I got really excited and the dream started to fade, so I quickly started rubbing my hands trying to calm myself down. It worked, and I was back in my bed. Everything was dark. I did another RC by holding my nose, and I remember thinking "I can't breathe! This is awesome!" So I crawled from my bed directly THROUGH my wall and it felt heavy like golden syrup.

I kept on crawling (not sure why I crawled) through to the laundry, and tried the light switch a few times. It didn't work. I stood up and walked THROUGH the glass door leading outside. I licked the glass door as I walked through it (I really don't know why, but I thought it was funny) It tasted cold and gross, like glass!!!

Once I was outside, it was light like daytime and I looked up at the sky expecting it to be pretty. It was boring , just light blue with a few wispy clouds. I jumped off my veranda ledge whilst looking up to the sky. I flew a few metres up, looked down at the ground then slowly floated downwards onto the grass. I walked to my trampoline (which is broken in real life) and jumped matrix style onto the trampoline. I jumped on it a few times, then looked up into the sky and flew!!!

The wind was blowing in my hair as I flew towards the end of my backyard (which is a few acres IRL) towards the gum trees at the back. I flew low enough so that my toes just brushed the gum tree leaves and looked at them. The colour was really vivid and I could feel the leaves on my toes. I flew back towards my house, noticing how odd my neighbours motorbike jump looked from the sky, and saw the dark grey roof of my house. Whilst flying I decided to see if I could get to space so I looked up and tried flying up into the sky.

Before I could do anything, I woke up shocked I had my first lucid! So I grabbed my dream diary and pen, scared that would forget it and wrote about it in the dark. Then I turned my light on and made it readable. I was so ecstatic that I couldn't sleep, so grabbed my laptop and logged onto dreamviews! The whole LD would probably only have lasted a few minutes in real life, and it was low-mid level lucidity (I think, but I have nothing to compare it with).

Sorry for the novel length post and thank you all so much, from a very excited, stunned and amazed...

if you know you were dreaming then it was a full lucid so u dont need to worry about that. Sounds like you had great control too. Flying, going through walls and tasteing (even if it was glass lol) anyway good luck and hope u have another great lucid like that one :D
