It was just a dream. Remind yourself of, that NOTHING in the dreaming-world can harm you. Nothing at all. |

Yeah, i know i'm a wuss and all the rest of it , but seriously, last night i had a false awakening, yeah? And it scared the crap outta me cause i thought i was awake, so i got out of bed and went to get a drink of water and when i went downstairs i found myself walking into my sister's bedroom and then i thought "Um..no" so i knew it must be a dream. So right away i tried to wake myself up but heard this loud screeching sound, like so loud i even started to wonder if it really was a dream, so i tried to run and couldn't move then the TV went static and i was freaked the hell out , until i woke up. |

Yeah dude, but what about the noises? The noise was really loud and hurts your ears....anyway to make it stop? |
|
Tell it to stop...? It's your dream, you should be able to control such things. Otherwise change the scene or something. |
|
Just forget about it. Acknowledge it as any other part of your dreams. You've got better things to do, than to worry about loud noises. |

Yeah, i guess, it's just i'm pretty new to it all so it's weird first couple you have. |
|
no reason to be freaked! its all in ur head. if you remember that it should be fine. you can always change the reality of ur dream.. go to the beach! some place quiet.. enjoy, relax... feel at ease.. |
|
Ahem, yes that might work, but not surely. If you go to the beach, so that you can avoid the loud-noise, chances are the noise will get in. Things that you worry about, often happens in your dream. Not always, but it definitely hightens the chances. That's why you just have to stop worrying about it. Really, it's nothing. |

If you can wrap your conscious around the pain, the pain will disappear. Instead of letting the pain hurt you, focus on it. It will then disappear. |

My guess is that the noise was from SP that you were coming out of. |

We who are about to dream, salute you!
Not being afraid of what most people think of horror as being will help Constantly thinking about death and zombies and girls popping out of TVs will give you these dreams. I suppose it might be me getting older, but I don't find myself getting scared anymore. |
|
Even with my vast LD experience (ha) I recently had like 5 FA's in a row, which were lucid but without a much control, and I finally couldn't stand it anymore and yelled "NO" to wake myself up. Then when I woke up for real, I was like, damn, I can't believe I did that. So it happens, just have to learn from it and move on. |
