A good day for dreams I suppose... very strange vivid stuff
I slept very little last night; I had to stay up late. This afternoon I was dog-tired from that, and I had just eaten 6 cupcakes and I was having a sugar crash.
The first thing that happened on my trip to sleep was that I saw a brief flash of the "sea of colors" HI as opposed to the regular rinky-dink HI when you close your eyes. Sounds accompanied. Mentally I did the right thing for the WILD, but physically I tensed up and caused myself to awake.
I went to sleep without further incident. It was weird; I fell asleep in the waking world, and woke up in the dream world. I had a false awakening at the wheel of my car on the highway. I was late for class and was putting on my shirt, deoderant, etc on the way. And breakfast of course. I actually "fell asleep" in the dream again, though I knew I was asleep but couldn't wake up. I remember thinking upon waking "It's a miracle I didn't wreck my car". I had driven for like 5 miles asleep at the wheel, and made several turns.
Then at the school strange things were happening. Some easily frightened people had started reporting odd events... and I reported a very odd event (something to do with losing a very rare street map and another studen had a replica... don't ask me). I kept going from the city to eat or mess around back to the school, and there were more and more strange things. People were really afraid---there was even a meeting in the gym about all this shit. People thought it was paranormal.
The librarians at our school are kind of crazy in dream and reality. I had lost my keys in the library, and they had them, but would not give them back to me unless I had witnesses to prove they were mine, and I had to get a notary and other bizarre shit. I remember blowing up outside the library and making a bunch of threats, but I never did anything.
Then my lucidity was starting. I was back at the library (for some reason it was a mix between the library and Eckerds). My math teacher said she would break the rules and give me my keys. I became lucid not because of a dream sign or a particular event, but because so much weird shit was happening that I just realized it was a dream. The lucid dream was odd. I could barely see anything, so I stared at my hands due to the advice of other LDers here. Didn't work for me. I'll go back to grabbing my balls ;). I could hear everything in the waking world, and I had so much confidence. I knew that I could stay lucid for hours if I chose. However, I was really pissed that I couldn't bring the world into focus, so I just decided to do crazy shit until I woke up because it was a useless lucid dream anyway. I flew for the first time (this is like my 9th LD), and I could only barely make out valleys of flowers below me, and I flew around a very large tree near my house, a sycamore.
As I said, I could hear the waking world. My breathing was very labored and fast. Not snoring, but as though I had just run several miles. At first I thought about waking up to make sure my body was ok, but I decided not to. After flying around a while, I flew into the ground and woke up. I was only in the waking world for 1-2 seconds, then I slipped back into the dream about paranormal happenings at the school.
There was a big meeting of parents and administrators, and it was found that most of the "strange happenings" that the girls reported were trumped up. They had a list and they went down it marking off various happenings. It was like it kept getting worse and worse, then the dream had a resolution phase.
