Very low-level lucidity, but I'm really pleased with this; it's only been a few days since I started working on my dream recall. I had one (spontaneous) lucid dream about three years ago, and none since, so I thought it would be more difficult! I'm too excited (and find the end of the dream too funny) not to share!
I was going to wait a little longer before actually attempting lucidity, but as I woke up at about 4:15, I decided that I might as well try the WBTB technique. I stayed up for an hour reading articles on DreamViews, and went back to bed, telling myself that I was going to dream. It really took me ages to get back to sleep.
I was dreaming for quite a while before I became lucid. Long story short, I ended up in a waterpark in Russia, and some of my friends turned up. I realised I was dreaming somehow. I don't remember how, I think I just remembered that I told myself I was going to dream. A computer appeared in front of me, and I knew writing wasn't going to make any sense, so I started looking at Wikipedia articles and laughing at them. Mostly they were just random strings of words, but I got to one that was talking about people who are "so stupid that they substitute giraffes for houses and live in them" *blinks* I laughed so hard at that that I woke up.

Lolz, congrants.
That sounds like a good lucid dream to break up the long withdrawal. Too bad that fun woke you up, oh well, I hope you have another lucid sometime soon :bravo:

Congrats!
I think that's hilarious, because I can totally relate! Yep, those people must be pretty stupid!
