any ideas?
Ok, a little about myself before the question. I have about 1 lucid dream per every 2 months that occour all on their own. I just recently found out that studies have been made in this area of dreaming and forums like this exist. So I have been keeping a dream journal, conditioning my mind w/ the mental exercises both during the day and before I go to sleep, and this is what happened....
Last night I was practicing the 1...I'm dreaming, 2...I'm dreaming technique and at about 200 something my body felt this incredible rush. I was tingling all over and felt like I was rushing down some tunnel or something. If this would have happened before I knew about lucid dreamning I would have immediately sat up and tried to make it go away. It lasted for about 2 minutes, then I fell asleep and unfortunately I remember nothing. MY QUESTION IS...Has anyone ever experienced something like this? Is it related to lucid dreaming? Or, is my brain just malfunctioning

You started crossing over into the dream world, your body gets this rush of energy through it.
Keep practicing you almost had a WILD =)
(Wake induced lucid dream)

Re: any ideas?
Yes, this appears to be very common sensation when falling asleep consciously.
Nevertheless, it also scared the f*** out of me when it happened to me for the first time, two weeks ago.

Try doing a search on the forum for the word "wild." I just did and this topic seems particularly informative:
