Having Bad Experiences.

Okay, so I was browsing google today, and started to research lucid dreaming. Well, I had only been away for about two hours as to I am in school when this happend. I had read up on how to do this, and be came interested, and here is what happend:

I layed my head down on my desk, and was thinking to myself wether or not I should sign up on this forum, but then I started to feel like a body buzz, a tingling sensation all over. I lift my head off of the table, and turn around to look at the girl behind me, and she gave me a sucker, then I walked over the the endo of the classroom to throw away the wrapper, and I woke up. I felt so real, I had no Idea.

So I try to do it again, and get back to this "Lucid Dreaming" but now every time I feel this tingling body buzz, I am too afraid to go to sleep, so I wake up. I think I am in fear of lucid dreaming, and It kind of sucks.

That 'buzzing' sensation is a normal reaction. Its when your body enters SP (Sleep Paralysis). There is absolutely nothing to be afraid of.

Infact it happens to you all the time, but this time, you were aware. When you fall unconcious when going to sleep you dont get all the buzzing.. So, dont be afraid, its normal!

the experiance you had was just one of the meny ways you can induce a lucid dream. I hope you enjoy exploring the rest, lucid dreaming is a great human experiance.

Thanks fir all of the help, I was just worried because latley I have been having anxiety attacks, and this "falling asleep at work" after reading up on lucid dreaming had me spooked. I was a little worried only because when I awoke I had a panic attack. I am positive that this isn't my first lucid dream, in fact... I have them all of the time because of work and school, I lose alot of sleep time, so I experience them. I also encounter people telling me I'm not dreaming, and I get pissed that I am always working, so When I wake up I am agitated that I didn't get paid to do everything I just did. When I dream about work everything I read is different, but I don't realize it until I do something crazy, that I wont do in reality.
