I always hear a lot about flying or being a dolphin or lot of other amazing fantasies people live out in LDs.
Anybody admit to having done or wanting to do somthing almost mind numbingly "mundane"?
Two things I admit to wanting to try that really aren't so "amazing" include riding an InterCity 125, and going to White Castle.
Also, I always wanted to try out riding on a paternoster. :content:
Removing a stain from carpet. I posted about it a few years ago. It was pretty cool!
I put a rock in my mouth. LOL Oh and I ate a pickle once, too.
In my only 1/2 lucid dream to date, I ate cake.
I suppose it's not mundane to me, since I'm allergic to cake.
But I ate cake.

Cake. Why didn't I fly again? :?
I got AIDS from being stabbed with a drug needle. :'(
Ive chewed on chainlink fence [Not as fun as I thought it would be] I also went to class once
i put a slice of bread into a toaster and waited for it to pop up. didn't even eat it :P

I rubbed my hands together for the whole lucid part of a dream. More specifically, I rubbed my hands together and grinned evilly while walking through an airport terminal. Hmmm, suddenly it sounds less mundane than I intended...
I carried someones baggage.

I once wasted an LD by eating candy in it, haha.
I once threw a banana at a random guy. Pretty boring. I was then chased into a lake and bitten by sharks. Not so boring.
I once went to my biology class in an LD.
I stepped into some office building that was supposedly doing Psi tests on volunteers. Since I had to wait my turn, I just sat around in the waiting room for, what seemed like 45 minutes, reading a book about telekinesis and telepathy. It was really boring, yet really fascinating at the same time. Lol. The text kept changing after every paragraph I read.
Otherwise, I'd say "just walking around and looking at stuff," but that's usually not very mundane, in lucid dreams. :)
I recall that I also have wasted an LD just waiting for something. I can't remember what, though.
I went shopping in a mall with my best friend.
A thousand stupid things: taking the dogs out, riding an escalator, talking to someone.
I smoked a cigarette. I thought I'd smoke in my dream since I quit smoking.

One thing that I want to do is summon and eat a large meal. I've only tasted things twice in dreams, and I want to see if this'd work.
once i voluntarily rowed across a murky but big lake just to get to the library even though i knew i forgot to bring my books that i had to return.
I walked around a town and went inside a bar, it was amazing because people were spread out, sitting on stools and around a table. Just minding there own business.
I then went round the back and saw chefs making bar food.
It was very realistic.
I tied my shoes once. I also stayed in bed for awhile in one lucid. Very very super comfy.
I took a shower once ... Felt quite real actually.
I stood in a long line for some popeyes. Someone grabbed the money out my hand so I had to chase him so I could pay for the food. An what do you know I woke up right when I started eating. All I ate was one chicken!!
