This was taken from something I just wrote in my dream journal, but it counts here as well. Post replies.
Setting: The Mind (no true setting)
Date: 5-15-04
I was standing around on a pretty much blank plane (blackness with a light floor) talking with a few friends. My best friend, who appears constantly in my dreams, looked quite frightened of something. I began talking to someone called B, whose name I will not disclose, that I know in real life about dreaming. He said he could fly and become lucid at will, so I challenged him and of course he did it. I walked back over to my friend, discouraged. He was shouting "It's coming, the pain, the PAIN!" and I suppose it was meant as one of my other friends who has many many problems because he collapsed when the source came near him.
I confronted this source and it touched me, and I was taken in. First came a swirl of colors, red, black, yellow, blue, white... and then I was on another white plane, watching a girl walking down a plane, shifting from a black hue to a deep white hue (not skin wise, the whole body, eyes included), As I watched this I said "No... wait a minute, WAIT... This can't be right." and I thought "I must be dreaming!"
It hit me like a brick, everything started to clear up, and I wasn't nearly as excited, but I had a false awakening (I believe.) for I looked at my hand and twisted a finger and it literally disappeared behind itself and swung back around. I couldn't move anything but that. I woke up then.
I'm getting closer.
It may be worthy to note that I -did- fly in the dream, but I was non-lucid.
Also, I got Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming Very good book, I'm enjoying it.
