This afternoon I went to sleep and had a DILD but as soon as I realised I was dreaming I had a False Awakening.
So I opened my eyes in my bed (in my dream) and stared at the Metallica Poster on my wall right in front of me for a second then I randomly did a Reality Check (pinched myself as I always do) and realised that I was dreaming.
I got really excited and wanted to jump out of my bed , but I couldn't move! ... I couldn't move any of my muscles. I couldn't even turn my head and look around , I was just staring at the poster on the wall.
For a second I thought I was awake and having a Sleep Paralysis so I pinched myself again (I could move my hands just a little bit but I couldn't lift them) and felt no pain. I tried to move again but I just couldn't. I tried concentrating to change the scene. I closed my eyes and imagined my school .. I opened my eyes and there I was in my school's field , lying on the grass , looking at the sky. I got really excited because that was the first time I managed to change the scene perfectly, so I tried to get up and run around ... BUT I STILL COULDN'T MOVE. It was so annoying , I was just lying there on the ground and thinking to myself : what a waste of Lucid Dream this is! Finally I woke up and did a RC. I was awake , I moved my head immediately, looked around the room, and got out of bed. But I'm still annoyed , how my LD was wasted like that! :(
Does anyone have any idea why this happened and how I can 'Fight' it? (In case if it happens next time!)

It's happened a few times to me before, and I've not found any way around it. Even changing the scene doesn't have any effect on it. I normally just let go of control, there's nothing else I can do!!

That happened to me in my latest LD, I just woke up eventually after continually trying to move. It was really frustrating! I suppose you could wake up, go back into a ND, or maybe ask for some help from your SG? Or you could try to float or move out of your body in the dream so you are free of it. That could be worth a try.

i get paralysis + vision-not-changing problems from fas a lot... its relaly frustrating

I get dream sleep paralysis more often than I'd like to. Someone suggested to me a while back to float up off the bed instead of trying to get up. It works sometimes.
One other thing that works is, with all your will, simply imagine yourself standing... and just like that you're instantly standing.

you are only that way, because you are thinking you can't move. just think you can and you will be able to move.

on my first LD, (today wmahauahau) I had a similar experience, and my mind immediately associated it to a dream thing (my blanket was trapping me)
then I thought "Man, I'm in a lucid dream, why is this stopping me?" then I just teleported away in cool fly-through-dimensional-gate style, and teleported faaar away (out of my bed.. sooooo far away xD)
anyways, just think again about moving yourself... it's just like trying to break a glass by pushing it.. simply pushing it won't do it, you gotta punch it with all strength you have
