I was chaining lucid dreams this morning. The last was the coolest. I found myself holding a flyer that announced a gathering of lucid dreamers in a place called McKelly Park. Thing is, you had to come lucid or YOU WEREN'T INVITED! Directions to the park were "SOUTHEAST OF WHERE YOU ARE" Well, I put the peddle to the metal and flew in that general direction, and of course I found the party--picnic, actually--wihtout a problem. The park was a grassy place bordering the ocean with stands of oaks and pines, and large open spaces. There were lots of participants engaged in their usual lucid dream activites; playing baseball or frisbee, bar-b-queing, having sex--the usual stuff...
I tried to get into a little game of catch, but failed miserably, since the baseball kept changing size and shape. I had trouble even holding it, and couldn't throw worth a damn. Then I switched to football. Same problem. I had to squeeze the air out of the ball to get a good grip, which brought boos from the others playing. This was embarrassing! Wanting to save face, I thought "Well, at least there's one thing I can do well!" So I began flying around the park.
Apparently there are a lot of lucid dreamers who can't fly! Or don't know how. I heard comments from the ground, like "OOOO! There's a flyer!" (Probably just my ego wanting to feel special ) Well, I landed next to a woman who told me she was also a flyer. "Cool," I said, "Wanna fly somewhere together?" She agreed. I told her my name. She said her name was Kundry. "Not Kundry, the witch," I exclaimed,"who served the Grail knights at Monsalvat?" (ref to "PARSIFAL", the opera: Kundry was a sorceress who had laughed at Christ's crucifixion, and was cursed to wander the world forever seeking redemption; she tried to find it by serving the Grail knights, but was at the same time forced to serve an evil master who sought their destruction!. "The very same," she answered.
We decided to fly out over the ocean to do some whale watching. On the way we passed by a huge parade of young people marching over the water, holding signs and placards. Kundry said they were protesting, but I couldn't tell what they were protesting about. They seemed happy, though. I felt it must have been a demonstration of support for something positive. Anyway, we found a pod of whales, but not like any I had ever seen before. They were twice the size of any any known species, and created massive waves in their wake. We beamed at each other in pure delight. Then I woke up
