Bet NONE of YOU have ever done this!!!! =P

This is a new one for me, and I don't believe I've ever seen anyone post a lucid experience like this one.

I had a very long period of lucidity early this morning. Did a bunch of stuff, had a lot of fun, but......

I found myself walking into the house and found that the carpet was a mess. One of the kids had spilled a glass of red cool-aid, which as you know constitutes a crisis of Biblical proportions.

      "Well crap", I thought, grrrr

"But wait, this is a lucid dream, I wonder......."

I held out my arm, palm facing the stain and began to concentrate on it, slowly at first, and then more quickly, the stain faded and was gone! I know it's not much, but if you have ever had to get cool-aid stains out, you will understand.

I was so amazed that I went back outside and tracked a bunch of mud and dog dookie all over the rug just so I could do it again!

I told my wife about it when I woke up this morning. She looked at me with pity.
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

HA HA HA, Seeker, your great. Out of everything you could possibly do and you get stains out, I love it. I doubt it's ever possible to get tired of lucid dreaming though, since the possibilities are endless.

      ahh yes the stain remover.

removing stains is to seeker as parting water was to mosses.

i'll give that a try tonight. (both parting water and stain removal)

Ha ha, that actually came to mind when I was reading Seeker's post (the parting the water thing) I thought maybe he was going to part the stain, or lift it out of the carpet and have it float off somewhere else.

the lincoln assassination, the battle of the alamo, the declaration of indepence (spill kool-aid on it and magically remove it ), when the jolly green giant fought Muhammed Ali, the 1969 moon landing; you can show how stains can be removed even in low gravity!, when a 300 lb man was trapped in a tiny room and died from his own flatulence, when canada invaded france.

Wouldn't it be cool to re-write history in your dreams? Then your mind just fills in the blanks like some sort of time-travelling DeLorean?

Make Germany and Austria-Hungary win WW1!

Make Hitler a nice guy and join the Jewish United Fund!

      Prove that Roswell was real/fake!

Wipe your ass with the Consitution!

Give the atomic bomb to England to defeat the Revolution!

Make Russia "Win" the Cold War!

Teach cavemen advanced algebraic equasions and scientific theories, and see we we really are in the year 2004!

      The possiblities are endless...

I sure haven't... and thankful too!

Of all the impressive abilities you have at your fingertips, you become StainMan! The stain killer! .. harhar

I guess I'm not one to talk. I'm not the expert at supernatural abilities in my dreams. For some reason I never have the desire to eg remove stains with my mind.

Wouldn't it be cool to re-write history in your dreams[/b]
Nice idea Stalin! I've often thought about those situations in waking life. Must be a trip to do it in a lucid!

Despite all the trouble we are giving seeker we all know that we ourselves have been obsessed with something small while in a lucid dream. Stain removal is the smallest of things. I remember one lucid dream that I thought "spinning" and making a broom was cool. Then I changed the scenery into a house and started breaking out windows with the broom, but that was when I was about ten and tired of cleaning.

I actually wanna try that. Im soo pumped! right now I cannot wait until later on tonight to try that while Im sleep. That part about going outside and tracking Dookie in the house FREAKING ROCKS!!!! I gotta do that!. Hahaha. I can understand the amazement for sure Seeker, To have that kind of power at your finger-tips is definately something to be happy about. Believe me it's not the easiest thing to do. You have to have a great deal of concentration and most of all belief to pull tricks off of that nature in an LD. You all laughing about it try it and watch how much of a hard time you have. With your mind pulling two different ways its not an easy task thats for sure. Great Work Seeker!

I can just imagine seeker standing in the middle of his living room with a big white beard, a staff and robes and just raising his hands and the big red stain parting down the middle.

You are the Mr. Clean of the dream world.
I bet if you were to look in a mirror in your next lucid dream, you would see yourself as him. In fact, it may turn into a nightmare.
