My first lucid dream!
Lucid
Not Lucid
This is a really weird first:
I am in a classroom with a bunch of gothic/dead preschoolers circling around me. There are now doors or windows. Then, all of the sudden, I get a strange feeling something is wrong. I poke my finger through my hand! I become lucid. Only one problem, I have no special abilities. I just start yelling "Wake up! Wake up!" I "wake up" in a massive woodshop with a bunch of tools. Then a massive, and by massive, I mean 15 ft+, man with overalls and a plaid shirt tells me to stop sitting and start working. I realize this is a dream still. After a while, I say "This is not what I was expecting of the famous lucid dream." And wake myself up.
My feelings about this dream can be summed up as:

Thats to bad to have a nightmare as your first LD. Keep trying and you will get some fun ones. Be sure to fly!

You probably won't get any cool powers for a while. It took me six tries to finally have an LD where I could do cool things like create stuff, etc. Actually, that's a rather good first lucid dream: you realized you had falsely awakened. Expect this to happen for the next couple of LD's. Just realizing you're dreaming is quite an accomplishment. Congratulations!

yayy congrats on a first lucid dream!

I've never had the classic nightmare with all your fears, but I have had a recurring dream where I am being sucked into a big black hole, and the nly reason it was terryifying is because my mind is twisted. I'm not insane, I think with logic and what is reasonable, but this dream was more like a bad trip. Bending faces. Swirling and screaming, but its the moments that make no sense that is what terrifies me. My subconcious is not something I like to keep in touch with. That's what my nightmares are like. I may go more in depth on them if there is a thread like that somewhere.

Congrats on the first lucid! Don't worry, it takes practice to get super cool powers, but it's well worth the wait.

Yeah, don't worry, you'll get the powers soon. My first 2 lucids were sort of like that one, but my 3rd one was really awesome, and I could do almost anything! If you just keep at it, you'll soon learn.

Just be happy you had an LD. That is fantastic. Son enough if you beleive, you will be able to have your powers and abilities. After all, it is your head.
I would visualize this dream before bed, and form a fantasy around having done something different in it. This may help spawn more, and has helped me.
