was this an LD

well i went to bed telling myself i'd have an LD, when i woke up in the morning i was still tired so i went back sleep, i remember in a dream standing in my room, i said to myself it was a dream and moved my hand across my face saying something rich would appear, i think i remember a posh man appearing and saying somethig with a posh accent then i realised i was waking up, im not sure wether i had control over my dream or even if the dream was my mind tricking me i was having an LD. im not sure if i was really lucid or if i was dreaming that i was lucid, im so confused :? someone help me out

sounds like a lucid dream to me (congrats!) If you realise you are dreaming and get some sort of control-its a lucid. You will get better at it with practice

thanks for the help :D but it just felt like a normal dream, i didnt think i felt or smealt anything

Well maybe you were just lucid for amoment then you went back into a normal dream mode. Try searching the board for tips on staying lucid, Id say you try to stay focused and examine the details of the dream next time you lucid.
