Yeah when i am dreaning and I see something dagerous i automatically become lucid but not everytime so i don't know. |

The other night I dreamed that I was showing my friend around my dream world and I found a deep tunnel that burrowed deep into the ground covered with a grid. When we tried getting in it opened and a mad man came raging out to try and kill us. That's when I thought "Okay, this dream has got to stop acting like this" and I became lucid basically to defend myself. |

So I'm assuming it would be a good guess if I said that a threat generally provokes lucid dreaming...wouldn't I? |

The one-eyed man is king in the land of the blind.
It gives you enough lucidity to find a way to defend yourself... |
|
Right, that or wake up. |

Yeah, I've done this too. I briefly mentioned that in one other post about nightmares and dream signs. Whenever I'm attacked or threatened in a dream I react and go lucid so that I can fight. The same sort of thing happens when I get into a real fight as well, I just get a boost of consciousness (like an adrenaline rush, but I not only feel an increase in physical power, but mental power) |

Be funny if you were attacked by a mad man with a knife in real life. "Oh I must be dreaming!" *stab* |
|
Then you try to summon a gun and it don't work. *stab* arrrrgh *stab* ugghhh *slice* bye bye |
