      my lucid dream

I remember 2 dreams in which I became aware I was dreaming..
One was when I was running with my cousin, we were running away from somthing scary but my legs wouldnt move fast enough, anyway I began blinking really fast and hard to try and wake myself up, it must have worked bcos its all i remember!
The second time I remember i was at my local train station, I realised I was in a dream, I didnt panic or anything, it felt quite normal. At the time I was quite young and I fan of an all black (my country's national rugby team) named Cristian Cullen. I distinctly remember deciding to experiment, I pointed in the distance and said "hey look here comes Cristian Cullen". It didnt work and I dont remember anything else.
Another interesting thing is both these occured before I knew what 'lucid dreaming' was or that it existed; I never told people bcos they would think I was lying..I hope I can make it happen again!

tayje005, I have no doubt you can "make it happen again".

The fact that you know what lucid dreaming is and have experienced them is half the battle!

If you're not writing down your dreams.. that's the place to start (what good is having a lucid dream if you can't remember it)?

You may also wish to check out the Tutorials forum which contains information on the various lucid dreaming techniques: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=25.

If you should have any questions, please ask and we'll do our best to get you answers!

Thanks, from what ive read it sounds possible, I remember dreams 98% of nights and they are always weird and usually vivid, so signs isnt a problem but I tend to go along with my dreams, I suppose I have to learn to question them

Clarity’s right, you can and you will make It happen again!!!! 98% is a good percent and if you can remember that much I want you to start a journal.
Did u already check out the tutorial?

Thanks for the replies, I started a journal and about 3 nights later I had a proper lucid dream! It was sooo cool, I woke up from a nightmare (but woke up in my dream), in the nightmare I had buckets on my feet and when I 'woke up' I still had them on which made me realise I was dreaming. It was an amazing feeling, I calmed down quickly and started experimenting, I was able to find the people I wanted to find and even visited a friend in another country using the 'spinning' technique to change locations. About a week after that I had another one, this time triggered bcos I saw someone wearing an item of clothing that i'd bought overseas so I realised it could not be reality. I started to imagine Brad Pitt and not too long after I met him! From then on I dictated things, if something wouldn't go my way i'd just think strongly of what I wanted to happen and it would immediately happen. It was so cool, my only question is how do you make them clearer/lucid and how do you make them last longer?
