IRL or in a dream? I assume in a dream since you posted in Lucid Experiences...

I have been snowboarding in an LD, was weird, although didn't last long as when I because lucid I decided I didn't actually want to snowboard anymore, the top of the mountain was AMAZING, the crisp air, the purity of it all

In my first lucid dream I was in some kind of valley surrounded by high snowclad mountains, like the Alps.

One of my favourite things about dreams is the amazing scenery.

I've had a couple of lucids which involved traveling around beautiful islands in a turquoise sea.

One in particular had me flying around the most amazing mountains and valleys, covered in velvety green grass with spectacular cliffs higher up, all honeycombed with thousands of little caves and tunnels- It was fantastic.

My favourite, though was a non-lucid, where I was using a small handlebar-like device to fly around the most amazing forests and mountains under a gorgeously deep-blue evening sky.

Then these two enormous long legged creatures came and started frolicking around with me.
And they were ENORMOUS. Like, hundreds of feet tall.

The evening light glinting of their rough skins was just beautiful.

oddly enough it's usually night time when i am dreaming and i am either in a busy city or flying overtop landscapes through the night sky. my dreams are very adventerous and there's usually a lot of action so it's hard for me to recall such a peaceful setting. i think it would be a bit boring to be honest, as much as i would appreciate the beauty of it.

wait, disregard that... there have been many exceptions now that i recall. the islands i've seen have always been very strange and slightly unsettling. i always see crocodiles when i'm near water. weird plants and trees...and i have some memories of certain moments in dreams where my surroundings are completely breathtaking....i have also explored many forests but try not to go to deep within.

      Hey there,

I've had quite a few lucid dreams with very beautiful nature scenes. Grassy hills, beaches, landscapes. I manage to change the scene once and bring myself in a swamp, which was very interesting too.

Perhaps one of the most memorable ones was during a lucid dream where I became lucid in a street, in a small sub-urban town, one with beautiful houses, front lawns, trees at the sides of the road, that sort of thing. At the time I was experimenting with trying to make dreams more vivid and real, and it really worked that time.

The next thing I know, i found myself in a scene which was quite simply staggering, without equal in waking life. I was looking down the street, and it was morning. The morning dew had settled and things were a little wet. On either side of me I saw only the trees, beautiful trees with great big green crowns, in full bloom. Best of all, the sun was shining down on the entire scene and hence called sparkling reflections in all the little water drops that the dew had created. It was a spectacle of green and golden, and the sun felt comfortably warm on my face, bathing me.

Needless to say, I spend the rest of the lucid dream walking around in awe through that street, my jaw open

I've been at a riverside. I wasn't really paying attention to it though, I was sprinting across the water and firing massive lasers from my hands.

I once became lucid in an ocean -- it seemed a lot like off a beach I used to go to when I lived in California. It didn't last very long because, well that's not a very stable place for me to start out, but it was incredibly real and there were some people swimming not far away. A lot of my dreams involve water, actually

yea, i happen to live on the beach so it happens a lot. my favorite time with the beach was when i saw dolphins and decided to swim out and the dolphins came up and let me ride on them while they swam me to an island(which really isnt there). this island was very strange i dont know why it just seemed creepy, but on the island there were no people but there were coconut trees and pinapple plants everywhere... i dunno, it was awesome.

EDIT: forgot to say this wasnt even lucid. just a great dream lol

In my most controlled LD I made my self a little scene and put trees in it and made a little clearing in the middle of it. I was seeing it all from above and it was pretty detailed. But then I zoomed in and was in the clearing ... I looked carefully at the grass that was covering the floor of the clearing and it was soo detailed I woke up after that dream really happy

I had a dream where there was a MASSIVE tree - about mountain sized with house-sized branches - in the middle of a very awesome ring of snow-capped mountains. Unfortunately I didn't really get that close to nature, seeing as we spent all our time driving all over it in a four wheel drive.
