I Know of two differnt times where I Ended up in SP while my eye are open.
One: I came home from work and was very tired So I lay in bed thinking of random things like cleaning house, walking the dog, more working tomorrow. As these thoughts ran through my head note my eyes wide open and very relaxed when it happens I felt the SP creeping over my body before I even fell asleep. I let settle in and there was my first WISP.

Second: I went to sleep for 3 hours then had a split second dream I couldn't remember none of. I wake up feeling quite weird like the way you'd feel in a dream. I did a DC to make sure I was awake and I was. Note I was very tired and as I lay there fully aware of everything not even thinking about stuff eyes wide open. I lay thier for a second then hear a noise in the other room like something metallic . That day someone was with me and I wasn't alone so maybe someone was up and moving around but it was like 3am and the sound was kinda loud. So I disregarded it. Anyways a few seconds after the noise I end up in paralysis. When I tried to move nothing happened. I didn't even know that I was in the state. It just kinda snuck up on me. Perhaps that sound was something in a dream.

Interesting. When suppose if that happens to you again, you can close your eyes, and wait for a lucid dream to start.

Wow, thats amazing that would probably be more intenses than a WILD. cuz ur eyes are open. Amazing...

I've a had what you would call a WISP very recently, and it was very different than other times I've had SP.

My eyes were half opening and closing at one point and I realised that when people talk of 'shadow people', this is what they mean. My eyelids made it look like there were shadow figures moving about the room.

Anyway, I then just went straight into one of my most lucid dreams I've had in years.
