      lucid problems

ok so i'm out four wheel driving in a bus... yeah it's weird. i come over this hill and there's this brontosaurs standing there. he takes off over the next hill. i chase. i get lucid while climbing the hill. my rear tires are slipping and i can't get any traction coming over the hill. i jump out of the bus and it starts rolling down the hill backwards. i fly up and over the hill. i have a false awakening but i'm still lucid. i walk into my bathroom and look in the mirror. i decide to call up and old girlfriend to arrange a "meeting" but my lucidity starts to fade. my mom knocks on the bathroom door and asks if i'm alright. i say i'm fine. i look in the mirror and decide to do the spin technique but i think focusing on my reflection while starting to spin screwed me up. it felt like the left side of my body weighed a good 50,000 tons. all i could do was flop my right side violently while trying to get momentum. i scream... "release me!" but that doesn't work. i pull my cell phone out and call the ex. i'm not going to let this little thing stop me from getting some. i call her but all i get is static on the other end of the line. i try another girl... same thing. i try to will my leg out of it's state but i'm having troubles. i can get it moving a little but i have no power. i try to fly about 3 inches off the ground but my control is shitty and i keep flying into walls. i close my eyes but i still see. it's freaky. i can feel my eyes blinking but i have perfect vision. i put my hands over my eyes but same deal. i try flipping off the lights but of course they don't work either. this is where i separate my mind from my body... it was the greatest feeling in the world. i flew up to the ceiling and i watched my body just stand there like an idiot. i raced out of the house and to my ex's. i get there and we talk for a bit... we can't really do anything because i'm a little spirit guy. i wake up. quiet fun.

Oh WOW! That's quite a dream!!!

      That was freakin funny.

So I was wondering, does stress in life make LD's more difficult to control, or even worse, make them less frequent? I'm asking that for both our sakes.

stress certainly changes dream content but i'm not too sure about control. i suppose it would all come down to how you deal with the stress in your life. if you're someone who takes control then probably no.

That problem you had with the weight on one side of your body would of been quite fustrating I could imagine. I just hate it when I can control something in my dream. You solved it though, well done.
