My First Lucid Dream - How GJ JOE made it possible...

Yes, I had my first lucid dream thanks to watching GI-Joe episode.

The very brief rundown - Dr. Mindbender was giving the Joe's nightmares so they couldnt fight properly (lack of sleep) All but one JOE - nightfire i think his code name was? He was able to combat and control his nightmares and he taught the other joes how to do the same.

I was only about 9 or 10 years old at the time, and it was shortly thereafter that i had my first lucid dream.

It started off as a relatively harmless dream involving some random events (its been a while im 25 now but it soon progressed into a nightmare. There was a rather large, menacing half monster, half man character that was attempting to do some harm to me. Just then the teachings of JOE took root. I realised i was dreaming, and thought that i wasnt going to take the harrassment this "guy" was trying to serve me. I said something to the effect of "You are nothing in this world. This is my world!" I then proceeded to grow about 50 stories tall. Ill always remember the look of absolute fear on this guys face as i towered above him.

Then i got too excited and woke up in my bed.

It was a pretty sweet (all be it - short) first lucid experience.

Thanks for listening, and...... YOOOoooo JOE!!!
In the begining there was flight...
