First long lucid
the past few days have been very successful for me. i had my first lucid three days ago, and had a longer lucid last night. if i had to estimate my second lucid lasted like 3-4 minutes. i even tried to fly in this one.
it started out i was in my backyard. i dont remember doing a reality test but i knew i was dreaming. i tried plugging my nose a breathing and i could still breath, it felt pretty cool. then i tried flying. i ran across my backyard and jumped into the air. each time i tried i fell to the ground. i must have tried like 4 or 5 times and couldn’t manage to get airborne. i quit flying to do something else and lost lucidity falling back into a normal dream.
one thing i felt was odd was this dream felt fake, it felt much more real than my first lucid. but i had no control over my environment.... and i almost would describe it as no control over my body. i remember realizing i was dreaming, but i wasn’t as excited as i thought i would be. i got excited when i woke up and remembered it all, but i wasnt excited then. and when i was trying to fly. i dont remember making the decision to attempt flying. nor do i remember the decision to stop trying to fly. it was like a lucid where i didn’t control the choices i made.

Congrats on the LDs! I experienced low-level lucidity just a few days ago. I mainly knew that I was dreaming from the fact that I was flying, but I didn't feel fully aware of the dream around me and had limited control. I gradually lost control until I was also falling on my face trying to fly again.
Anyway, I have to bits of advice for you. First, before you go to bed, decide what you want to to when you become lucid. That'll save you the time of trying to think of something to do or just letting the dream go where it wills (unless that's what you want to do). Secondly, when you notice that you're dreaming, make an effort to become fully emersed in it. Rub your hands together or against a wall to draw you more into the dream and away from waking up. Continue to remind yourself that you're lucid.
It'll just take experience and practice, but you'll get the hang of it in time :) Don't worry about it.
