This happens to me all the time. The question you should ask yourself is "did I knew I was actually in my bed sleeping?" As for the memory, I experience the same confusion, because even vivid lucid dream turns into pale memories. But you might recall the memory of vividnes you had in the dream - that is, actual memories might be hazy, but you remember that you thought something like "wow, this is like in real life".
