xD...What do you do to fly? I've only had 2 LD's....and in the frist it was short and I couldn't fly at all...Then in the second LD I just flew about 5 feet above the ground then I got attacked and kiled by people weilding knifes..o.o...There was this one dream I had last night after my 2nd LD that I wish I'd become lucid. It felt weird, though....Maybe because I was a charactor from a TV show? I grabbed a fast moving excalator's handrail things then at the end jumping off, going over the railing (I was on the 2nd story) then landing...All of the dream people were staring..o.o....I don't have that vivid Ld's though...;-;
When the first time I flew I flew in my first lucid dream. I extended my arms and then thought in my mind that I was going up and then I lifted off the ground. I did not really feel like I was actually flying.
Recently I have just been running fast and jumping up and it feels pretty cool. I feell the sensation of flying more.
Try spinning while you are in the air to control your trajectory.
Also I have never been attacked. I tried to go into space but I kind of got a little apprehensive. I felt a cloud in the sky that was hard and it touched me. I saw the boundary of the earth and the space.
Don't try too hard when it comes to flying. My best was when I flew into a space ship. I set my goal to go out of my house and into space. In a short time I was inside the space ship. I also dreamed of going on the bridge of the uss enterprise on star trek and that was a cool experience.
Believe you can and you will go high!!!! Good Luck.
Well my 4th lucid dream(last one) I flew with complete control except for sometimes I drifted right, but I didn't feel the wind, although I did feel cold and it waas about 80 degrees in my room at the time and it felt like 40 :)
When I flew, I jumped off a very high structure.
I couldn't really control anything until right before hitting the ground. Then I flew around very easily and comfortably. :)
Yes, this happens to me often -- the feeling of wind against my face when I'm having a really good flying dream (usually when I'm flying through puffy white clouds fast & high in the sky). It's usually accompanied by the sound of rushing air, too, and sometimes even high fidelity symphonic music. These are very empowering and refreshing, so I wish you many more!
I had a lucid dream where i had the dream characters pick up and throw me up in the air.
this could be a good suggestion for those having trouble with flying.
Or if you can go up lightly like on the moon try climbing to high points and then jumping off
Wow, Jill I've had the exact same flying experiences! Doesn't it feel great??Quote:

yeah, it somewhat freaked me out when I had my first 'wind sensation' LD since i wasn't used to LDs having the senses accompanied with them, but in all my research, i've found that the 'flying through puffy clouds with the wind feeling/sound' is actually quite common, so must be some sort common 'collective unconscious' experience we're feeling. it's one of my favorites (has happened half a dozen times), so i'm always looking forward to my next high altitude flight. (interestingly enough, when i'm flying through outer space, my unconscious or whatever knows enough not to feel gravity or sensations).
