if you become more advanced is there a possibility of reading books in lucid ? for example if i go over the pages when i'm awake and in lucid i actually read them, can i like load then those pages ? I know it's quite hard to read text in lucid, but anyone could share some information or experiences ?
Well I havn't read books when I was lucid, but because my imagination has increased because I've dont alot of drus lol, if I go to bed and read a book say after I get into bed for half an hour, many times I will go over the story in my head, and as me as part of the story, see the thing is, why would you want to read it? Wouldn't you rather be part of the story? :shock:
I can read fluently in my lucids, but what the words say usually don't make much coherent sense.
The problem with reading a book in your dreams is that your subconscious is too busy trying to play to allow it to be a 'serious' (not silly) book
I have found myself reading several times, and am usually impressed at the storyline. Even more impressive are the twist-in-the-tail type stories (or dreams) which appear to be written by a differnet part of my brain to the one that's reading the story. At some point though I notice that the words, or even the pictures in a comic strip, are creating themselves as I read them and then I realise all's not what it seems... this is a good thing as I then realise I'm dreaming and go lucid :)
