Lucid Dream OR Hallucination?

Last night I was SO tired. I had to wake up at 5:30 to finish studying for a Biology test. I wanted to try to have a Lucid Dream, but my body was so tired that I figured I would be in too deep of a sleep to wake up during my REM. I always set my alarm clock for 5:30, and I have it sitting right next to my bed so I can look over at it and preform reality checks if I need to, without even getting up. (Without that thing, some of my false awakenings would NEVER have become Lucid Dreams.)

Here in Oregon, it has been storming like crazy, so when I woke up during what seemed like 2 or 3 in the morning, and looked over at my alarm clock, (which was completely blank), I just figured the power went out and went back to sleep. I then woke up AGAIN, and my alarm clock was still working, with the right time and everything! That was a rather creepy feeling, because if the power had gone out, it would have reset my alarm (digital), to 12:00. But it didn't, so that means the power NEVER went out, and there was no explanation for that blank screen before. I thought that it might have been a false awakening, and nearly kicked myself for not preforming a reality check like I ALWAYS do when I wake up.

I went back to sleep, and woke up again, and my alarm was blank! I thought to myself "Im dreaming!", but then everything faded out, and I woke up AGAIN, and my alarm was on normally! ><><><><><>< AGH!! Stupid tiredness, clouding my judgement and obviously imparing my dream control.
