at any moment in the dream if you realized you were dreaming, even for a second, you were Lucid--so count it as a Lucid Dream

I'm wondering the same thing about a dream I had (possibly my first LD?) ...I never really made the realization that I was dreaming so much as my dream self instinctually guessed it. As if LDing is something normal people do in life, and there was nothing unusual about it. I was walking around my school and attempted all the cliche things that you hear about...flying, materializing stuff, dematerializing stuff, teleporting... At the very beginning I rubbed my hands together, apparently to stabilize my lucidity, yet I wasn't thinking about it, just doing it as something I thought I *should* do.

I never really had the thought, "I'm dreaming!" but I did realize that I could do anything; that there were no consequences, and that I was in control. (i.e. asserting my power by making a bunch of people disappear...effecting this by reminding myself that I had the power to do it.)

Plus, my memory of it is very hazy...For awhile, I was really attempting to LD, and all that goes with: dream journaling, constant RCing; but school and stress got in the way and I haven't thought about lucid dreams for several weeks. I've neglected my dream journal, thus the hazy memory... I dunno.
