By far one of the most bizarre LD experiences I've "felt" in a long while...
As I leaned against the big old tree trunk, I could feel its tough woody bark pushing back against my fleshy fingertips. Then my fingers and hands began to sink into the tree trunk. I could feel the wood soaking into me almost like a sponge sucks in water. It's hard to describe how the flesh of a human body could take on the characteristics of a tree, but as I began to assimilate the tree, I pulled away from it to see if that would halt the process. Apparently what I had already started was spreading into the rest of my body. I could feel my blood stop in its course as it was replaced with clear and green fluids and an "energy" quite different from my human form. I looked down at my arm and it had turned into a branch that continued to grow, sprouting more branches and leaves in front of my eyes which were also beginning to change along with my vision. I was growing larger and more dense by the second, but I didn't feel threatened by the strange sensation of muscle and bone turning into wood and bark. In fact it felt almost freeing, though I struggled greatly to maintain my focus of mind. I looked down at my feet and they had grown into huge wooden trunks that split into several roots sinking into a brown earth and loam. They were not anchored to the ground like you might think, though. I lifted one leg and it pulled free almost effortlessly. I set my foot back down, then concentrated, trying to come back to some semblance of my original dream body. My tree body instantly became more human-looking, but still maintained a woody brown look with twigs and leaves sprouting sporadically and growing quickly out of control.
Weird.
