Well, last night I had my first decent LD as well as my first FA. :boogie:
I have a question though:
1. In my dream, I was trying to explain to my dad that he could plug his nose closed and still breath, but he couldn't understand what I was saying to him. He kept doing really dumb stuff trying to figure out what I was telling him. Are everyone else's DCs this stupid lol?
I think, it has something to do with level of lucidity you were at. Low level lucidity is characteric, becouse the persons you are talking to dont recognize, that you are dreaming.
You expecting him not to understand you. Forget dream characters, find something more fun to do, I always end up arguing with dream characters.

I would recommend you to explore the world really slowly. Focus at your senses first. And stabilize the dream first. I am not good at it, but it helped me last night to prolong the dreams. There are many techniques here to increase vividness and believability of a dream. And from my point of view, these should be performed before you do anything else in dream. The goal is to stabilize yourself in a dream, to activate the senses, and to activate the feeling of "I" within your dream.
Its cool to have a peer in a lucid journey beeing at the same level.
